Hardison Art ATL Portfolio
The Art of Hardison Art ATL - My portfolio is a collection of original acrylic and mixed-media works that combine paint, collage, texture, photography, and found visual elements to tell a story. My work often begins with a recognizable image - a person, a place, a moment, or a memory - and builds outward through layers of color, fragmented imagery, typography, architectural details, and unexpected materials. Some pieces are deeply personal and documentary in nature, while others are created simply to explore composition, texture, humor, and visual impact. Rather than following one traditional style, I allow each piece to develop its own identity. Bold palette-knife work may sit beside torn paper, distressed surfaces, photographic fragments, or precise architectural elements. The imperfections, layers, and contrasts are intentional - they are part of the story. The result is contemporary mixed-media art that invites you to look closer, discover the details, and find your own connection to the work. Original art. Layered stories. Created in Atlanta.

The Artist
Harding’s work is a visual exploration of the fragmented nature of memory. By layering disparate textures and materials, we create a dialoguenwith mixed media art, between the tangible and the intangible, inviting viewers to navigate the complexity of lived experience and the quiet beauty of the everyday.

The Process

Hardison Art Atlanta is a dialogue between the tangible and the intangible. Each piece is a physical manifestation of the layers that define our lives—fragments of memories, the weight of relationships, and the quiet echoes of experiences. By layering mixed media, we create a textured narrative where the surface holds the weight of the past, inviting the viewer to explore the depth of the human condition.

“Art is the act of making visible the invisible fragments of our lives—layered memories, the quiet echoes of relationships, and the raw textures of experience.”
